Garden Lights Landscaping Wins Four Georgia Landscape Awards

We are proud to announce that we received four Georgia Landscape Awards at the Georgia Urban Ag Council 2025 GALA on March 25th. We were thrilled to be honored by UAC, an organization that promotes professionalism, adherence to industry standards, and education. The association’s GALA awards program supports the UAC mission, while also recognizing members and industry experts who are committed to enhancing the future of Georgia’s urban ag industry.

Award #1: BRONZE – Hall Residence

Category: Design/Build/Installation - Residential $25k - $100k

Located in the Peachtree Battle neighborhood, on Manor Ridge Drive, this charming home makes a statement that is both aesthetic and low maintenance. For this project, we partnered with Daniel Eginton Design to integrate the landscape design with the home’s architecture. We installed high-quality artificial turf, Techo Bloc pavers, and concrete edging to provide a clean and functional design. To further elevate the curb appeal, we included plants with a variety of textures and colors to provide seasonal blooms and greenery. The finished result not only reflects the homeowner’s vision and style but also makes an impressive first impression.

Award #2: SILVER – Faa Residence

Category: Design/Build/Installation - Residential $100k - $250k

Every detail came together seamlessly at the Faa Residence, located on Paran Walk. We partnered with Mosley Architecture & Gardens to transform the home’s entrance. From precise placements of greenery to detailed stonework, we worked to complement the home’s architecture and curb appeal with a warm and welcoming entrance. This project demonstrates how thoughtful landscaping can enhance both beauty and value of a home.

Award #3: GOLD – Zobel Residence

Category: Design/Build/Installation - Residential $250k - $500k

Located at the historic farmhouse landmark in Decatur, Georgia, our project at 313 Kirk Rd. contributed to this landmark’s legacy. The garden was crafted with meticulous attention to detail. We were proud to partner with Mosley Architecture & Gardens to transform the backyard into a unique oasis. This project included a brick patio, Zoysia sod, perennial garden, a variety of colorful blooms, rosemary, custom outdoor kitchen, Thermal Bluestone countertops, and Tea Olive trees. The result is an unforgettable garden for the homeowners and their guests.

Award #4: SILVER – Sankofa Montessori School

Category: Design/Build/Installation - Commercial, $100k - $250k

We were thrilled to create this nature-inspired playground for the children and staff at the Sankofa Montessori Charter School. With sustainability at the core of our design, we partnered with Chau Wall & Associates and sourced all custom structures using locally grown White Oak and pressure-treated wood for raised garden beds and rock climbing walls. We began by clearing the space and then poured concrete and created walkways to connect all the play structures. The school now has a functioning playground, complete with garden beds, rock climbing walls, a custom climbing structure, picnic tables made from recycled plastic, custom high-bars, four square space, custom stepping logs, natural boulders, and mulch covering the playground area. The finished result is a playground that will provide countless hours of joy for the Sankofa community.
